SECRET WITNESS SAW SCOTT WITH LACI'S BODY
NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS PICTURE ALSO PICTURE OF LACI'S MEMORIAL PROGRAM

In a shocking development that could blow the Scott Peterson murder case
wide open, police now have a top-secret witness who can place Scott with his wife
Laci's body shortly after her death, the Enquirer has learned exclusively.

What's more, cops are examining a chilling piece of evidence they found under a seat in Scott's
14-foot aluminum boat-
a pair of pliers with strands of his pregnant wife's hair still attached.

Even more devastating, the 30-year old fertilizer salesman was caught
on tape by his girlfriend
Amber Frey attempting to purchase damning
photographic evidence that the Enquirer revealed to the public last week.

Authorities have been carefully piecing together the double murder case since late December
and during Scott's interrogation, we learned that one startling answer convinced police he
was lying. The Enquirer has penetrated the ongoing investigation and uncovered the
secret reasons why the attorney general of Calif. has called this a slam dunk case.

Scott's beautiful wife Laci, talked to her mother by phone late Dec. 23 just a few weeks
before she was to give birth to the couple's son
Conner: Scott told police he left home at
9:30 the next morning to go fishing while Laci was getting ready to walk their dog.  He
claimed he took off in his truck and towed his boat to
Berkeley Marina, 85 miles away for
a solo fishing trip. Police divers unsuccessfully
searched the waters around the marina.
Then months passed, they returned to the bay to search again and again.
Now the Enquirer has learned why.

They have a secret witness, "A truck driver came forward to tell police that
around 3:30 in the morning of Dec.24, he was driving on a highway close to the
marina area and saw a truck pulling an aluminum boat," revealed a source.

"He was interested because he was thinking of buying a boat himself.  He pulled up
along side close enough to check out the maker's name on the boat- Gamefisher.
"Sometime later, the truck driver saw a picture in the paper of Scott's
truck and boat and recognized them from his trip on Christmas Eve.

Shocking, the driver had spotted Scott in the dead of night near the scene
where Laci's body was disposed- at the very time Scott had claimed
he was still at home with Laci.  The witness literally sank Scott's alibi.

Authorities now believe that Laci's husband killed her in their home sometime
after 8:30 p.m. on Dec.23.  Then in the wee hours of Christmas Eve morning,
he drove his truck to the bay, where he dumped it at high tide.

"Investigator's also believe that in the truck driver they have a witness who can place
Scott with Laci's body in the area of the marina in the early hours of Christmas Eve",
disclosed the source close to the case. As investigators poured over Scott's
boat, theyfound a startling piece of evidence under one of the seats-  pliers
with hairs attached tothem.  Forensic tests indicate the hairs belonged to Laci.

The pliers had stayed a closely guarded secret until recently when lead detectiveCraig Grogan,
visited with Laci's family to brief them on developments.News of the pliers horrified them.

"They were pointy, needle nose pliers, and police believe Laci's hair got
caught in them while Scott was preparing her body for disposal in
San Francisco Bay, "revealed a source close to the family.

"He can't account for half a roll of chicken wire he owned. He may have used the wire to wrap
around Laci's body and cut or knot it with the pliers.  That could be when her hair got caught in it".

A clearly concerned Scott has obtained the services of top-notch defense attorney Mark Geragos-
who will have to come up with a strategy to keep Peterson from  being hanged by his own words.

As the Enquirer has revealed in recent exclusive stories, Modesto police turned Scott's 28
year old girlfriend Amber Frey into an
undercover agent- tapping her phone conversations
with Scott and feeding her questions to ask him..Now the Enquirer haslearned amazing
new details of the "Amber Tapes" which will become key evidence in Scott's trail.

On Jan24-after secretly recording many conversations with Scott for detectives -Amber
went public with their affair at a televised police press conference.  Astonishingly, Scott
called Amber the very next day, told her he "completely understood" why she'd gone
public and then asked her
if he could purchase key evidence.!

Unfortunately for Scott cops were still listening in.  "During the conversation, it was quickly evident
that something was weighing on him revealed an insider.  "He gave Amber some love talk, then
brought up a subject obviously preying on his mind-
intimate photos of Scott and Amber
taken by a
girlfiend 10 days before Laci vanished.:  The photo's were in last weeks Enquirer.

As Scott chatted on the phone to Amber, he had no way of knowing she had already handed copies
of the photos to detectives as proof of their relationship, said the insider. With police recorder
taping him, Peterson dropped his self-destructive  bombshell.
"How much do you think
it would cost me to buy the pictures from her?
" he asked referring to Amber's friend.

Scott's alibi that he was away fishing for sturgeon when his wife went missing seemed at first to make
sense and was supported by his Berkeley Marina ticket stamped withthe date and time.  "Then,
when he was being questioned at his house, said a source, one of the detectives brought up the
sturgeon fishing trip and asked Scott what kind ofbait he used.  Scott paused and said "I don't remember
.

The detectives looked at each other with raised eyebrows.  One of them said  "I can
remember fishing with my dad when I was 13 years old and  can remember what kind of
bait I used back then".  This guy can't remember what kind of  bait he used 48 hours ago?

As police pursued their leads, Scott remained calm and continued to call Amber.
As late as Jan 5, 2003  -12 days after Laci disappeared.  Scott thought he still had
Amber fooled into thinking he was an eligible bachelor. On that day he decided to
come clean- sort of.  He called Amber and nervously told her,  "Sit down- I've got
something to tell you".    He confessed that he'd lied to her and that he actually had
a wife who was pregnant and who disappeared and that he was helping run the search
for her.  She played along at first, acting as if it was the first she had heard of it.

Then in one of the most mind-boggling moments of all, Scott made a personal  promise.
Concluding the conversation he said : "I want you to know I will never lie to you again.

This is the Globe story in tidbit form, after reading the National
Enquirer Story there is nothing really new, just a different slant.

SECRETS OF LACI'S AUTOPSY

SPINE CHILLING EVIDENCE: MOM TO BE'S BODY WAS DISMEMBERED BY HER KILLER HUSBAND-COPS PROBE
"ITS POSSIBLE THAT HE PICKED UP HER HEAD WITH THE NEEDLE-POINT PLIERS'

1. Did Scott dismember his lovely wife Laci and then cut off her head and dump it separately from her body?

2.  They are hoping that the autopsy on Laci Peterson's headless torso will answer this
grisly question.  Cops have asked if Scott cut off her head and disposed of it separately.

3.  A pair of needle- nose pliers found on Scott's boat contained
strands of hair consistent with the texture of Laci's hair.

4. The pliers were found under a seat on the boat- right
where Scott would have been sitting while sailing.

5.  The strands of hair have NOT been positively identified
as Laci's but are consistent with the texture of her hair.

6. Dennis Rocha tells Globe his heartbreaking realization that Laci might have
been brutalized and murdered and then her remains abused. Saying my little
girl would not have gone down without a fight.  She was a fiesty woman.

7.  Bodies are still being held by the coroner for Contra Costa County

8. Dr. Wecht doubts cause of death will be determined.

Thank you Pope!  The reports this week have told us our worst fears- that poor
Laci likely died a horrible, violent death at the hands of the person she most
trusted    :-(    The thing about this- this violent murder: It shows us the mind
of a vicious
sociopath. Not only did he murder his wife and his son, but he
chose to do so violently. Rather than suffocate her or kill her quickly and
painlessly, he chose to use his own hands to murder her.  He is beyond evil.
I think he must have enjoyed it. This guy is a REAL sicko.
