| GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: Tonight: Her baby is due in about one week, and still no sign. Where is Laci Peterson? Laci's mother, Sharon Rocha, and her sister, Amy, join us in Modesto. Welcome to both of you. SHARON ROCHA, LACI PETERSON'S MOTHER: Thank you. AMY ROCHA, LACI PETERSON'S SISTER: Hi. Sharon, any good news tonight? SHARON: No, we haven't had any news at all about finding Laci. We're still looking. VAN SUSTEREN: Any tips, Sharon? Are they still pouring in? SHARON: Yes, they are still coming in. I talked to one of the detectives earlier today. They're still following up on all of the tips that are coming in. VAN SUSTEREN: Sharon, I want to take you back through the horrible events that have unfortunately been bestowed upon your family. I want to go back to December 23, your last conversation with your daughter. Did she mention anything about the fact that Scott intended to go fishing the next day? SHARON: No, she didn't. No, she called me about 8:30 that evening, and what we talked about was them coming over Christmas Eve for dinner. There was no mention of Scott going fishing or of any other activity they were going to do the next day. VAN SUSTEREN: Did you find it unusual, Sharon, I mean, because you sort of discussed, you know, what time they would arrive, that she wouldn't sort of drop into the conversation that Scott would be gone during the day and she'd have to wait for him to come home, for instance? SHARON: No, not necessarily unusual. I was the one who set the time for them to come over at 6:00 PM. And usually, they're very prompt, so there was no reason for her to even mention it if she thought that he was going to be home by 6:00 o'clock. But she did not mention to me that he was going fishing the next day. VAN SUSTEREN: Amy, your last conversation with your sister -- do you remember when that was? AMY: Yes. It was on Monday the 23rd, also. Scott and Laci both came into the salon where I work at, and I cut Scott's hair, and I spoke with them both. And they left around 7:00. So that was the last time I spoke with her. VAN SUSTEREN: Amy, any mention of the fishing trip? And if not, do you find it unusual that neither one of them mentioned the next day's activities? AMY: No, he did not mention he was going fishing. It wasn't really unusual for -- we talked about them going to Sharon's house for dinner. I asked them what they were doing, and they said Laci -- oh, my earpiece fell out! VAN SUSTEREN: While you fix that, let me go back to, Sharon. Sharon, on the Laci Peterson Web site, I read that Scott claims to have made a phone call to Laci on his cell phone after he was finished fishing. Do you know anything about that, whether there are any phone records to corroborate that? SHARON: No, I don't. I haven't been told whether that's been corroborated or not yet. I know they could easily check that, the cell phone records, but I don't know the answer to that question. VAN SUSTEREN: Sharon, I know it's tough on you. You came out in support of Scott very early on. He's your son-in-law. Any thoughts tonight in light of the recent revelations about whether or not Scott is being forthcoming on this? SHARON: Well, one of the family members had asked Scott, about day three of Laci being gone, if he was having an affair, and we were told no, that he was not. So yes, when this did come out, we were shocked. We were very disappointed, and it just left a lot of doubt as to other things that he had told us. VAN SUSTEREN: Is there any suggestion there might be other women, so that this -- this is getting even sort of more degrading than what we thought it was? SHARON: I don't really know about that. VAN SUSTEREN: Amy, your thoughts about your brother-in-law Scott, at this point. AMY: You know, it's hard. We were all shocked by his affair, and so it's very hard for me to trust him and -- so I -- I don't know. My feelings really aren't very strong towards him right now. VAN SUSTEREN: Have you tried to talk to him, Amy? AMY: I haven't. I haven't talked to him. VAN SUSTEREN: Since your sister disappeared on the 24th, have you had any conversations with him that sort of stick out in your mind, and at this point now, being suspicious, looking back? AMY: No. Our conversations were very brief, like, throughout the last month. So nothing that really stuck out in my mind, no. VAN SUSTEREN: Sharon, the house was searched on December 26, Laci's home was. Do you know -- and some items were recovered. Do you know what was taken from the house? SHARON: No, I don't, Greta. We weren't there. We were in the house on the 25th, but when the search transpired, we weren't there. So I don't know what was taken. VAN SUSTEREN: Did anything look unusual to you, Sharon, when you were in the house on December 25th? SHARON: I didn't notice anything unusual. I was concerned. I know the night of the 24th, we had met at the park because I thought that after what Scott had said, that she was supposed to take the dog for a walk, and the dog was in the back yard with his leash on. My first assumption was that possibly she was still in the park someplace. And at that time, I asked him if he noticed whether her purse was at home or not, and he said he didn't know if it was or not. VAN SUSTEREN: When is the last time you talked to Scott, Sharon? SHARON: The last time I talked to Scott was about a week and a half ago. VAN SUSTEREN: And what did you talk about at that time? I mean, I know you talked about Laci being disappeared -- having disappeared, but is there anything that sort of sticks out in your mind from that conversation, looking back? SHARON: Well, we had asked him if he had had an affair, and he was still denying it at that time. And then he finally admitted it to my son, Brent. So we were very disappointed about that. VAN SUSTEREN: At the -- I mean, if you were able to sit down and talk to him -- I don't know if you're unwilling or whether he's unwilling, at this point, or you just haven't thought about it -- what do you want to ask him? What are the questions that are sort of sitting there for you? What do you want to know? SHARON: The main thing I want to know is, I want -- or I would like to tell Scott that I want him to go to the detectives and tell them absolutely everything they need to know about finding Laci, everything about what transpired the day of the 23rd or the 24th, so that they can find Laci. He needs to talk to the detectives about that. Talking to us or talking to the media is not getting the answers that we need. He needs to talk to the detectives, so that we can get Laci home. VAN SUSTEREN: Sharon, are you suspicious of Scott, that he's involved in her disappearance? SHARON: Well, I just feel that there are some questions he needs to answer. After discovering that he wasn't truthful about the affair, it's left a lot of doubt in my mind about other things that he has told us. VAN SUSTEREN: Amy, are you suspicious of your brother-in-law's involvement in the disappearance of your sister? AMY: I feel the same way. I just feel like there are questions that he needs to answer. I mean, I want to know every moment of those two days, so that we -- I mean, I -- he needs to be clear and tell everything he knows to the police. VAN SUSTEREN: All right, Sharon and Amy, I wish I had some good news or the right words to say to both of you. Appreciate you joining me tonight.
