SCOTT BRAGGED OF SCHOLARSHIP
July 15, 2003
Peterson's lies go back to his days at the
University of San Diego High School,
where he played on the golf team. He bragged to classmates that he received a golf
scholarship to ASU.  Even David Thoennes, Peterson's High School golf coach, told
the NE "It was my distinct impression that he had a scholarship."
But officials at ASU insist that Scott did not.

GOLF DIGEST
According to published reports, Peterson was said to have accepted a
partial scholarship to Arizona State, for which Mickelson was starring
at the time, though Steve Loy, the ASU coach then and now Mickelson's
agent, said he has no recollection of Peterson, that he never played golf
there and was not given a scholarship. Peterson was said to have left
ASU only a few months into his freshman year.

BOGUS -Out of bounds
He may be no angel, but Scott Peterson was never a Sun Devil, either
It never happened, according to school officials.
