| VIDEO OF INTERVIEW #2 SCOTT'S TEARFUL INTERVIEW Jan 26, 2003 In a network TV interview, with NBC11's JODI HERNANDEZ, Scott said he first told Modesto police about his affair with Amber Frey on Dec. 24, the day Laci Peterson was first reported missing. It is a claim that Laci's friend does not believe. "He needs to step up and do what he should have done from the very beginning and talk to police and talk to detectives, if he was only hiding an affair he needs to step forward now and take a polygraph test and do what it takes to clear his name," said Laci Peterson's friend Lori Ellsworth. Ellsworth said she doesn't believe Peterson's claim that he had told his wife about his affair. "I saw Laci on the fourteenth of December and she was happy as could be. She did not seem to be a person that had this weight on her shoulders of her husband having an affair," she said. Peterson responded to reports someone saw him loading something into his truck, saying it was a patio umbrella and said reports that there was blood found in his truck, he said he often cuts his hands working in his fertilizer business. |
