Sharon Rocha went to bat for Brad Saltzman, a 35 year- old, general manager of the Red Lion Hotel, in Modesto, where the search for Laci had taken place. Her actions are another sign of the bitter feud between the two families. Saltzman managed to keep his realtions with both sides intact, until Lee Peterson went on LKL and said "instead of grieving Sharon was planning a break-in." Brad Saltzman didn't allow the Petersons to have a room the next time they called. He turned Jackie down telling them there was no room. He was called to headquarters in Kansas and was fired. Sharon and Ron wrote to the home office, telling them how Brad had helped in the search for Laci. In the end, Saltzman was allowed to resign. "I have no regrets, I did what I thought was right." |
