| 1966 Jackie Latham has a child, a boy she names John E. Latham. She brings him to her marriage to Lee Peterson in 1971 and he takes the Peterson name. We know him as John Peterson. There is no proof provided that he was adopted by Lee. Lee Peterson also had three children from his first marriage --Susan, 12, Mark, 10, and Joe, 9 who lived with their mother in San Diego during the week but spent most weekends with their father. He was 6 when Scott Peterson was born and shared a bedroom with his younger sibling in the family's two-bedroom apartment in La Jolla. John Latham Peterson and Anne's brother, Steve Grady worked at Poma's Deli in Ocean Beach together and Anne didn't know John was her brother. Anne kidded about it saying "what if I went out with John and didn't know he was my brother or I met Scott through John and went out with him." John is married with 2 daughters.
