| Jackie was almost 19, just 5 months short of 20, when Don Chapman was born. The baby girl named "Latham" (who we now know is Anne Grady) was born in July 1965 in San Diego. Jackie would've been 21, nearly 22, when she bore this little girl baby. Then there is John E. Latham, who was actually given his first name (and middle, whatever theE stands for) while still in the hospital. But again, he was born as Latham to Jackie while she was still single and/or using her maiden name. She was 22, nearly 23. |

Yes, Jackie is Scott's natural mother The confusion came when a reporter interviewed Susan early in this case and Susan called Jackie her "step- mother," which she is (to Susan). The reporter, in believing Susan to be Scott's sister, which she isn't, exactly, assumed that Jackie was Scott's stepmother, too. Susan is Lee's daughter, but I still don't know who her mother is. I don't know how many wives or ex-wives Lee had before Jackie--and he and Jackie have been married 31+ years. (How sweet that their wedding anniversary is also "Scott & Amber's" anniversary of first meeting. Pardon me while I gag.) John E. (Latham) Peterson, Jackie's son who was born in 1966 sure looks a lot like Lee, but there still is no official birth record for him under that name in CA, only as Latham.
