| Laci Peterson Fund to Benefit From Low Carb Market Grand Opening Proceeds Thursday December 11 Former Chief Volunteer and Key Figure in Peterson Case Opens 1st Low Carb Market in Chic Santa Monica, CA and Donates Proceeds To Laci Peterson Fund Brad Saltzman, a key figure in the Laci Peterson case who served as Chief Volunteer for the search for Laci and General Manager at the Red Lion Hotel in Modesto, California where the command center was based from will donate 100% of the profits from the grand opening day of his 1st low carb market to the Laci Peterson Fund. The grand opening will be held on Wednesday, December 17th from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Pure Foods, 1820 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, CA. Saltzman will have Laci's photos prominently displayed with a sign so shoppers recognize that the proceeds from that day are being donated to her fund. "Opening a National chain of low carb markets is a direct result of being involved in Laci's case. Laci in her special way brought so many people together. Donating the profits from our grand opening is the least I can do," said Saltzman. "After all the media attention and negative energy associated with the Peterson case, I decided to take a totally different direction and make a new start" said Saltzman. Saltzman's departure from the hotel was nationally publicized on CNN, FOX NEWS, MSNBC, COURT TV, National Enquirer and several network television news affiliates in Sacramento and San Francisco, CA Saltzman said the stress of the Peterson case caused him to gain weight. But after losing more than 20 pounds on the Atkins Diet while trying to piece back together his life after departure from the hotel, Saltzman decided to focus on his health."
