| Reports of Damaging Evidence Against Scott Peterson Police have evidence that Scott Peterson devised home-made anchors to sink his wife's body in San Francisco Bay. A crime report, apparently released by accident, indicates that the killing occurred at the Peterson home in Modesto. Meantime, for many the behavior of Scott Peterson remains a mystery. While the people of Modesto are showing their love for Laci and her child, the community continues to express anger toward Scott Peterson. As for his family, they are showing support by visiting him in jail, but there are rumors he has been threatened by other inmates. A sheriff's department spokesman says that is unlikely. A Sheriff department spokesperson Kelly Huston says, "That is unlikely unless he is passing past their cells when taken out of his cell." According to Huston, he is being held at amaximum-security facility, which means, he is not within the general population and so far, he has been a model prisoner. Huston says, "He is not the typical maximum security inmate, he has been very cooperative,he is courteous with the staff here and he has not been a problem at all." In the meantime, friends of Scott and Laci's say they didn't see any signs of trouble. When Kristen and Greg Reid were asked about Scott and Laci Peterson they said, "Everything seemed to be fine." They said the Peterson's were happy about the pregnancy and that Scott was building furniture for the nursery. According to the Reid's the Peterson's were fun to be around with no apparent problems with their marriage. Greg was asked about Scott going fishing on Christmas Eve and his reply was, "Since Kristen was pregnant I was doing the same thing. I did not see it as unusual at all. It was a day off for him and he was not far away. He was in contact by phone." Laci Peterson's family is trying to plan a funeral for the daughter and unborn grandchild, but there is still no word as to when the coroner will release their remains.
