| Searchers return to San Francisco Bay Sept 20, 2003 Modesto police and a dive team returned to the Richmond area of San Francisco Bay on Friday, about five months after the bodies of Laci Peterson and her unborn son came ashore there. "We were at the bay today," said Detective Doug Ridenour, adding that police went to the Richmond marina. He would not say what police might have been looking for. "That's all I can say," referring to a gag order in the homicide case. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department provided the dive team, spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
