Scott Peterson's mistress, who is now represented by attorney Gloria Allred posed provocatively for a 1999 photo shoot. synopsis The blonde former mistress of accused murderer Scott Peterson has undergone a glamorous transformation for her day in court. And show-biz experts wonder whether Amber Frey, who is now represented by Gloria Allred- is hoping to parlay her makeover into a big-money deals. When I saw the new look, I nearly fell over," says Sherri Spillane, a Hollywood talent agent who represented some of the characters in the OJ trial. "It seems that Amber had a makeover in hopes that she will be courted todo nude pictorials, write a book or even play herself in a TV film about the Laci Peterson case." Celebrity makeup artist Alexis Vogel studied the no-frills photo of Frey taken on Jan. 24th, when she went public about her affair, and the glamour shot from her May 19th, press conference announcing she'd hired Allred. "She certainly looks different", says Vogel, who has worked on Sharon Stone and Paula Abdul. "It looks like she is going for Playmate more than a look for court." "Her hair has been bleached, she has had several facials, and she has been tanning." Allred says Amber did her own makeup for the press conference, she is a beautiful woman, and "thats no crime". Vogel says she is not surprised that Amber did her own makeup, " She's wearing false eyelashes that are too long and spiky." David Hans Schmidt, a Phoenix based agent says, "Frey could easily be Playboys next hottie. "WOW! She went from blase blonde to a real stunner." Schmidt feels she should cash in now and damn the consequences. Once the trial is over she will be yesterday's news." A Playboy spokesperson tells STAR, they would consider Frey. "But at the moment no talks have taken place." PART TWO LACI'S MOM: WE WANT JUSTICE Sharon Rocha is pushing hard for a federal law to make the killing of a fetus murder. The congressional bill called the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was recently renamed Laci and Conner's Law, would make alleged killer Scott Peterson liable for both his wife's death and his unborn son's if he is found guilty. And that could bring the death penalty. "We feel Conner was a person," said a tearful Rocha in an interview with Court TV outside the White House. "There wasn't one murder, there were two."
