| A while ago I wrote to you about Laci and Conner. I have followed the trial since the beginning. Something touched me about her smile and her zest for life in her eyes. Today I heard what I have been waiting for, the world for that matter had been waiting for-Scott was guilty. We all knew it, we all hoped that the jury would see it. I have to say I thought it would be a mistrail there for a while with all the juror changes, but ultimately justice was served. I also said that their love will never leave you, they will always be with you, and I know that they are smiling down from heaven on you today with the hopes that when you lay your head to pillow tonight, that you may rest a little easier. Since I wrote to you last I have lost my mother, but I still can't fathom how deeply painful it is to lose a child, we simply weren't mean to bury our children, but I know pain,and it must be devastating to you and your family to have this to deal with, along with the media. I hope this verdict brings closure a little closer to you and it takes a little of the pain away. You have done so many wonderful things with the feelings that you have by making new laws and getting them passed, God Bless you and your family, and I hope that someday you can look back and smile at the memories you have, instead of hurt. | I just watched the verdict come back and it is just heartbreaking, even though I believe he is guilty. I know that you will now have to go through the penalty phase and I pray for strength for you all. Laci and Conner are not gone, they live in the hearts of everyone in the nation who breathed a sigh of relief when the verdict was read, but at the same time tears gathered in our eyes as we mourn Laci and Conner anew. | I believe Laci and Conner are together and are watching over all who love them. I am greatful that thier remains were able to be put to rest for the family's sake. Laci glows in all of her pictures and she indeed was and is a pure soul and produced the same. God Bless and Keep you all. Remember to be patient with your own healing too. | My heart breaks for Sharon Rocha. There is nothing like the bond between mother and daughter. Everytime I heard Sharon Rocha's name or saw Laci's smile It brought tears to my eyes. A woman with so much zest for life is so irreplacable. Sharon should be proud of the daughter she raised and knew and while it may not seem true now, Laci's death was not in vain, she touched the world in many wonderful ways.
