Warehouse Manager Sept 8, 2004 Mark Purdom worked for AIM Property management in Modesto, the company that leased warehouse space to Scott Peterson, as a TradeCorp representative, before Peterson's arrest. He testified that Peterson sent him a letter on January 13, 2003, a few weeks after Laci Peterson disappeared, seeking to get out of his 2 year lease. The lease wasn't to expire until October 2003. Purdom testified he did not agree to an early termination of the lease and responded as such to Scott Peterson. But eventually there was an early termination that took effect the end of May 2003. The details were worked out between TradeCorp and a local Law Firm. On cross-examination, he was asked if he knew Scott Peterson's employers intended to move their operations to Fresno that year.
