Laci's Yoga Instructor Offers Revealing Details
   Apr. 29, 2003

ABC7 has some revealing new details in the Laci Peterson
case from her yoga instructor.  What did she know about
Laci's behavior in the weeks before she vanished?

Twice a week, Laci Peterson would come to Debbie Wolsky's yoga studio to take a
class designed just for pregnant women.   Debbie Wolsky, yoga instructor: "She was
beautiful, she was elegant, and eloquent. She was happy and easy to smile."

When Laci first joined the class, she was one of five mothers-to-be, but as each
one left to have their babies, Laci ended up as Wolsky's lone student.

Debbie Wolsky told ABC7 Laci spoke often of the nursery she was creating for the son
she planned to name Conner, but she rarely, if ever, talked about her husband, Scott.

Debbie Wolsky, yoga instructor: "Which was a little unusual, since the other women did
like to talk about quirks of their husbands, but she didn't. She did not look like a
woman who had recently found out her husband had an affair. She did not
act like someone who was unhappy in her marriage."

Wolsky did know something was wrong when Laci didn't show up for her regular class,
two days after Christmas and then she saw the missing poster with Laci's picture.

On February 10, Laci Peterson's due date, Wolsky and some yoga students
created a memorial in her memory.

Debbie Wolsky says she always pictures Laci the way she rested at the end of class.

Debbie Wolsky, yoga instructor: "Lying at the end of class, eye pillow on, blanket,
pillow between the knees, totally comfortable, looking so peaceful,
so patient, so comfortable, so perfect."
